A lot of Campbelltown backs onto creek lines and bushland: the Georges River corridor, Smiths Creek and the reserves around Kentlyn and Leumeah. Roof rats use those corridors and then climb trees, fences and power lines into roof voids. Bait alone does not solve that. We find the gap, usually a lifted ridge cap, a gap at the fascia or an open gable vent, and seal it.
Inside, mice are most common in older homes with timber floors and in garages used for storage. We set lockable bait stations away from children and pets and use snap traps in places bait should not be used.

Stored feed, boxes and pet food draw mice. We bait outside the living space and proof the door seals.
Subfloor vents and gaps around pipes are common entry points, so we check underneath, not just the roof.
Droppings, rub marks, gnawing and runways tell us the species, the population size and the route they're using.
Roof penetrations, tile gaps, weep holes, sub-floor vents, garage door seals, pipe entries and overhanging branches.
Lockable tamper-resistant stations placed on runways where pets and children can't access them, and snap traps in roof voids where baiting isn't appropriate.
A written list of every gap to seal, in priority order, so the next rodent can't take the vacancy.

We use lockable, tamper-resistant stations fixed in place, and snap traps inside the house where bait would be a risk. You get a map of where every station is.
Most often through lifted ridge capping, gaps at the fascia, or branches touching the roofline, especially on blocks near creeks and reserves. We seal those entries as part of the job.
Activity usually drops within one to two weeks once entries are sealed and stations are active. We come back to check and remove stations when it is clear.
